Dear Members,

We are pleased to announce that Henderson Squash Club will be reopening from 7am, Thursday 14th May 2020.  (Keys will be active from this time)

To ensure we can keep the club open for our members, it is extremely important we abide by all the rules instructed by the government.  Our club has put in place some new rules and guidelines for the safety of our members.

Please ensure you read and understand our Safety Rules & Guidelines:

A copy of these rules & guidelines will be in Henderson Squash Club’s entrance, and when you visit the club, you will be required to sign and date, that you have read and understand them.

General

• Members only allowed in the club - no guests until further notice
• All members MUST sign in and out using the Contact Tracing Register located in the entrance
• All members MUST book our squash courts through the iSquash website
• Please do not enter the club if you feel unwell
• Hand sanitizer has been placed in designated areas around the club.
• Social distancing (when not playing squash) of at least 1m is to be observed
• Our Office opening hours will be 3pm - 7pm Monday - Friday

Playing Squash

• To use a squash court you MUST book via iSquash using your iSquash username & password
• The iSquash Online Booking System is new to our club.  Detailed instructions will be up on our website shortly, and will be sent to all members in a separate email.
• Please use the spray and cloths provided to wipe down chairs and handles before and after your squash game.
• Please bring your own equipment to use (racquets & balls). 
• Please leave all bags in your car or use the designated tables provided located in the club lounge.
• All bags/bottles/rackets/clothing must leave the premises with the member. If they are left behind they will be disposed of.

Bar

• The bar will be open from 4pm - 8 pm Monday to Friday  (from 21^st May)
• Members will need to be seated and not standing around the bar
• Tables and bar leaners will be separated to allow social distancing 
• No more than 10 persons in a group at a table/bar leaner 
• Only one customer at the bar at any one time

Cleaning

• The club has been fully sanitised and cleaned prior to opening.
• Cleaning schedule and check sheets are all in place. The check sheets are situated around the club.
• Additional cleaning has been scheduled
• Cleaning materials are readily available for members and staff to use ongoing.

Rules Review: Monday 25^th May 2020

We are excited to see our members back in the club and hope everyone can abide by our new rules and guidelines set out above, so we can continue to be open.  Please familiarise yourself with them.   If these rules are not followed, the club may have to close for an extended period. 

We understand that there are a lot of changes happening, and things might be quite different to normal but hope you understand this is all for our members safety.    We ask that you be patient and work with the committee as we try and make it possible to utilise the club effectively moving forward.

Whilst we will review our action plan daily, we will formally review our rules and guidelines on Monday 25^th May 2020 and communicate any changes that week.
